| CHANNING DESIGN is changing! It’s a sign of the times. My purpose is the same – to share creative inspiration with you so that you can begin your own creative process, and through this lens you can then find each day fascinating and exciting. My new theme – Artful Simplicity, will be coming to you through the same wonderful things you’ve come to know and love about CHANNING DESIGN. The emphasis will be on seeing the beauty and creating with simplicity, not complexity. I’ll be communicating with you, sharing ideas and getting more conversation with you to develop my purpose – through my newsletter and exchange areas as well as all the face-to-face opportunities we’ll have to be together throughout each year. |

CLASSES/
WORKSHOPS |
To get started with CHANNING DESIGN all you need are the basic knit and/or crochet skills. Once you’ve taken the beginning crochet and/or beginning & continuing knitting class you can do any of my follow-on projects. Each project represents Artful Simplicity in giving you a new set of skills on top of the basics and to enable you to learn the combining of yarn artfully so that your finished piece is beautiful to be worn, to have in your home, or to give as a gift. All my patterns are offered for knitters and crocheters so you can decide what you want to do and then decide whether you want to crochet or knit it. I have knitters and crocheters working on the same project in my workshops and knitalongs. Here are the basics and follow-on projects:
